Liverpool are Back! Boo
I'm not one who is likely to jump to conclusions, but perhaps Liverpool are back! Look I personally never thought that it was all over for the Reds because they have had glimmers of their true selves this season, coupled with the fact that if we are honest with each other, they still have phenomenal talent, and sometimes talent has a hard time getting it together, so this turn was inevitable.
Yes they could go on a losing streak but that's unlikely, VVD bodied Haaland, Salah scored 4 goals in 2 games and they were able to win the match despite Darwin Nunez actively playing against them.
For Man City, they starting to look a little bit one dimensional, they have the vibes of a team that tells their main man to score and if he doesn't them try again until he does. Obviously that's complete horse manure, City have scored goals without Haaland and they will do so again if they have to, they are a very good amd competent football team, however there is in my view a need to get back to the basics of that team dynamic lest we forget City failed to score away to Copenhagen in the UCL when Haaland was shut down for the night to help lower the strain on his CPU, despite that there is no chance of this really derailing City too much but Cancelo I'm sick of these fullbacks who can't defend parading around the park, why is a fullback wearing a number 7?
Even Klopp was smart enough to pretend TAA was injured when we all know he was most likely just protecting him from the critics as well as Phil Foden who was marked out of the game by a 37 year old CM, maybe Southgate should consider him before Trent.
